Hiring Specialist – HR Operations

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Hiring Specialist to join our Human Resources team on-site in Benghazi. The role supports daily HR operations, recruitment, onboarding and ensures compliance with company policies and labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations in line with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation.
• Monitor attendance and leave, preparing related reports.
• Prepare payroll-related data in coordination with relevant departments.
• Draft HR correspondence, employment contracts, certificates and official forms.
• Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies and procedures.
• Generate periodic HR reports and maintain HR statistics.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and internal procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the HR Manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, formulas and dashboards.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and integration of attendance data.
• Experience with data validation, accuracy checks and audit trails.
• Clear communication skills for explaining policies to employees and managers.
• Ability to resolve conflicts related to attendance or overtime.
• Collaborative mindset to work with HR, payroll and unit managers.
• Proactive employee engagement through reminders, follow-ups and coaching.
• Professional courtesy, maintaining respect and confidentiality.
