Recruitment Specialist (Engineering & Consultancy)

About the role

Alqudra, an engineering and consultancy firm in Benghazi, is seeking a full‑time Recruitment Specialist to lead end‑to‑end hiring for engineering, consultancy and support functions. The role focuses on building strong candidate pipelines and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and post clear job descriptions for a variety of positions.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates using both traditional and digital recruitment tools.
• Coordinate interview schedules, conduct reference checks, and manage offer processes.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, reports, and applicant tracking data.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment activities with workforce planning.
• Continuously improve recruitment procedures and support new‑hire integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within engineering, construction or consultancy environments.
• Strong written communication skills for creating job descriptions and recruitment communications.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams and diverse candidates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in Arabic; English proficiency is an asset.
• Familiarity with the local labour market in Benghazi or similar regions.

Required skills

• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) proficiency.
