Hospital Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Hospital Pharmacist to manage and support the safe and effective use of medications within a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, interactions, contraindications, and potential medication-related issues.
• Provide medication information and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient medication history.
• Monitor medication inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication requirements.
• Support medication reconciliation and promote safe medication practices.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication-related incidents as required.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy, hospital, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and pharmacy-related training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• 3–5 years of relevant hospital/pharmacy experience.
