Junior Script Writer / Copy Writer (EU Project)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Script Writer / Copy Writer to support its EU‑policy communication outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role is short‑term and on‑demand, providing strategic and logistical communication assistance to strengthen the visibility of EU initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft engaging content for websites, newsletters, articles, press releases and social media.
• Write scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews and other audio‑visual products.
• Develop campaign messages and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences and channels.
• Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with communication specialists, graphic designers and AV teams to produce integrated outputs.
• Adapt content for digital platforms while complying with EU editorial guidelines.
• Support the preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages and promotional materials.
• Contribute to the design and execution of communication campaigns and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or languages.
• Excellent written English; French and/or Arabic are a plus.
• At least 2 years of general experience in copywriting or journalistic writing.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience drafting communication content such as articles, scripts or social posts.
