About the role
We are looking for an experienced Offshore Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to lead the electrical installation and commissioning activities on a Libyan offshore platform. The role involves coordinating with back‑office engineers, contractors and the client to ensure safe, on‑time delivery of high‑voltage and low‑voltage systems.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate alignment meetings between back‑office engineers and on‑site contractor leads.
- Update Electrical Installation & Commissioning Management on progress, risks and quality.
- Review contractor ITPs and test procedures; witness FAT, SAT, SIT, OSAT and OSIT.
- Supervise delivery, unloading and inspection of equipment, including RAMS review.
- Oversee cable pulling, termination and installation of HV/LV and communication cables.
- Coordinate cross‑contractor interfaces and report directly to the client on‑site.
- Supervise mechanical completion and qualification of installed equipment.
- Execute LV/AP and HV/AP duties, including lock‑out/tag‑out and energisation checks.
- Support safe sub‑station management, inductions, daily coordination and safety drills.
- Perform inspections and tests for Test After Completion prior to hand‑over.
- Record daily progress in Lautec and contribute to the Commissioning Document Register.
- Provide lessons learned and improvement proposals based on NCRs and punch lists.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore electrical installation and commissioning.
- Proven experience supervising multi‑disciplinary contractor teams.
- Valid BOSIET and H2S certifications (mandatory).
- Experience with rotation schedules (28/28) and 12‑hour shift patterns.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, ITPs and RAMS.
