Pre‑K Teacher

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Pre‑K Teacher role is based in Libya and focuses on supporting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young learners. The teacher will plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based lessons aligned with the school’s international curriculum and Libyan cultural values.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage daily routines such as circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, and snack time.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities, monitor student progress, and document observations.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues, collaborate with other educators, and participate in professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; relevant teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with Pre‑K or early childhood age groups in a school setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
