About the role
QP is seeking a Project Planner to design, build, and maintain integrated project programmes that support informed decision‑making across complex construction and engineering projects. You will translate scope, milestones, dependencies and resources into clear schedules, monitor progress and help manage risk and change.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project programmes from concept to completion.
- Set up Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
- Baseline schedules, track progress and produce look‑ahead plans (2‑6 weeks) and master schedules.
- Support resource planning and capacity forecasting with Project Managers and discipline leads.
- Identify schedule risks early and propose mitigation or scenario options.
- Manage programme updates, change impacts, schedule revisions and maintain change logs.
- Prepare concise planning dashboards and reports for internal and client‑facing meetings.
- Facilitate planning workshops and coordination sessions to align scope, deliverables and timelines.
- Ensure planning documentation is controlled, auditable and aligned to QP standards.
- Contribute to improving planning templates, SOPs and reporting cadence.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling within construction, engineering, architecture or PM consultancy (hotel and complex projects preferred).
- Strong proficiency with planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Power BI and Excel reporting skills are a plus.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle, procurement, design coordination and delivery sequencing.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, create structure and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and disciplined version‑control and reporting.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
