Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue & Cost (Libya)

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support enterprise planning, forecasting, performance reporting and commercial analysis for UCC Energy, turning production, pricing, cost and risk assumptions into clear financial insights for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate long‑range plans, annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare monthly performance reports, forecast updates and driver analysis.
• Evaluate bids, tenders, contracts and commercial proposals.
• Build and review financial scenarios, including NPV, IRR, EMV, breakeven and sensitivity analyses.
• Support capital ranking, portfolio affordability and post‑investment reviews.
• Maintain controlled financial models, KPI definitions, planning versions and decision records.
• Improve SAP, Power BI and reporting automation while ensuring governance and traceability.

Required profile

• Libyan national (mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including at least 5 years in oil‑and‑gas planning, performance, economics or commercial finance.
• Strong upstream oil‑and‑gas experience, preferably in an operator or non‑operated JV environment.

• Advanced Excel and data reconciliation.
• Financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting.
• DCF, NPV, IRR and EMV calculations.
• Scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• SAP.
