Senior Information Management and Reporting Associate

About the role

The Senior Information Management and Reporting Associate will support data collection, analysis and reporting for the Direct Assistance and Migrants Resource and Response Mechanism (DA/MRRM) Unit of IOM Libya. Based in Tripoli with frequent field travel, the role ensures accurate and timely information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement integrated data collection and information management mechanisms across all DA/MRRM activities.
• Prepare monthly, ad‑hoc and sector‑specific reports (e.g., S/NFI, Food Security, WASH) by consolidating information from operations.
• Collect, validate, analyse and produce weekly to annual internal reports reflecting project achievements and challenges.
• Maintain and update the DA/MRRM dashboard on IOM Libya SharePoint/Power BI Reporting Server.
• Support implementation and monitoring of information management tools and contribute to regular project status reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma with six years relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Media, Social Sciences or related field with four years experience.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable groups and with international humanitarian organisations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (oral and written) and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency with database software.
• Experience using SharePoint and Power BI for reporting.
