Wellsite Supervisor Trainee

About the role

The Wellsite Supervisor Trainee supports Field Engineers, Field Specialists and Wellsite Supervisors on‑site, gaining hands‑on experience in oilfield operations and Schlumberger’s safety‑focused culture. This full‑time role provides structured training to develop the skills needed for autonomous service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with technical support for basic downhole and surface equipment.
• Perform equipment calibration, wellsite integrity checks and ensure compliance with logging programs.
• Prepare and validate orchestration programs and automated workflows.
• Condition equipment and logging tools for acquisition programs and provide hardware LQC and troubleshooting.
• Capture field data in business systems and manage deviations through proper Management of Change.
• Participate in job reviews, debriefs, and report HSE/SQ events.
• Support wellsite customer and drilling contractor engagement.

Required profile

• Licence or Technician degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• Basic understanding of wellsite operations, equipment and oilfield safety practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Motivation to learn and grow in wellsite supervision.
