Wireline Sales Engineer

About the role

An oil and gas services company is hiring a Wireline Sales Engineer to develop and maintain strong client relationships and support the growth of Wireline services in the Libyan oil and gas market. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, present suitable Wireline solutions, identify business opportunities and support the company's commercial growth. The position is office-based in Libya.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Identify new business opportunities in the Libyan oil and gas market.
• Understand clients' Wireline requirements and present suitable solutions.
• Present Wireline services to clients at different organizational levels.
• Support commercial discussions, negotiations and client meetings.
• Maintain regular contact and follow up with clients on opportunities and ongoing requirements.
• Stay informed about Wireline services, especially Cased Hole operations, and market developments.
• Help prepare technical and commercial proposals when needed.
• Contribute to sales and business development targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Wireline services, preferably Cased Hole.
• Proven experience in client engagement and relationship management.
• Based in or originally from Western Libya, with established client relationships in the region.

Required skills

• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of Wireline services and the Libyan oil and gas market.
• Professional, confident and able to engage clients at all levels; highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently.
