Field Operator – Pressure Pumping

About the role

Baker Hughes' Pressure Pumping team supports customers in operating oilfield assets efficiently and safely. As a Field Operator, you will support pressure pumping operations by ensuring safe and efficient execution of field activities, working closely with operations teams, customers and service personnel. Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operation and maintenance of pressure pumping equipment according to customer specifications.
• Conduct pre-mobilization equipment checks, load-outs and equipment preparation.
• Prepare rig-up equipment and connect to customer facilities, recording technical data and operational information accurately.
• Keep auxiliary and service equipment maintained and ready for operation.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and take preventive action.
• Operate equipment in line with company procedures, safety policies and industry standards.
• Support general maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and availability.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2-3 years of pressure pumping experience in land and/or offshore operations.
• Experience operating sand control and acidizing equipment and nitrogen pumps.
• Able to work at remote land locations, offshore facilities or mobile vessels.
• Flexible to varied schedules and available for 24-hour call-outs when required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, teamwork and communication skills.
