Human Resources Consultant (HRIS)

About the role

DataTech Consulting Limited is looking for a full‑time, on‑site HRIS Consultant to join its team in Tripoli, Libya. You will support the implementation, management, optimization and maintenance of the company’s Human Resources Information Systems, ensuring they align with business needs and improve HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, configuration and optimisation of HRIS platforms and related technology solutions.
• Analyse HR processes and recommend system improvements for efficiency and user experience.
• Maintain accurate employee data while ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Develop HR reports, dashboards and analytics to aid management decision‑making.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to align HRIS functionality with organisational needs.
• Provide user support, troubleshooting and guidance for HRIS users.
• Assist in testing system updates, enhancements, workflows and integrations.
• Support data migration, system documentation and process‑mapping activities.
• Ensure HRIS processes comply with labour laws, internal policies and data‑protection requirements.
• Deliver training and guidance to HR teams and end‑users on effective system use.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within HR operations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms, HR operations and HR management processes.
• Proven experience working with HRIS platforms, HR databases or enterprise HR systems.
• Experience in HRIS implementation, configuration, reporting or system support is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of employee data management, HR workflows, payroll‑related processes and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of labour and employment regulations.
