Local Coordinator for National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Libya

About the role

The National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Libya is seeking a Local Coordinator to lead the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme in the country. The role involves promoting the programme, supporting applicants, and managing the office’s administrative and financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, inform and follow up on Erasmus+ opportunities, including organising information campaigns and maintaining a website with upcoming calls.
• Provide support and training to potential applicants, organising sessions on proposal preparation and specific EU programme topics.
• Disseminate and exploit project results, contributing to studies, statistics and reports for the European Commission and EACEA.
• Monitor higher‑education issues related to the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts, drafting briefing papers and progress reports.
• Administer the NEO, manage technical and administrative staff, monitor the budget and prepare implementation reports.
• Coordinate with the EACEA, EU Delegation, local and national authorities, and maintain relations with other NEOs and National Agencies.

Required profile

• Meets the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the EU Delegation in Libya and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
