Market Manager – Libya

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Market Manager to lead Denk Pharma’s operations in Libya. Based in Tripoli, you will own the market’s budget, drive sales across pharmacies, wholesalers and healthcare professionals, and act as the bridge between the local team and our headquarters in Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including product launches, HCP engagement and pharmacy promotions.
• Ensure Denk Pharma products are available, visible and actively sold at point of sale, identifying and closing gaps quickly.
• Lead, coach and hold accountable a team of Sales and Medical Representatives and Supervisors, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, doctors and key opinion leaders, travelling regularly across the market.
• Monitor sales performance, spot deviations early and adjust tactics to meet revenue targets.
• Define and implement multi‑year growth strategies for Libya in alignment with the Munich headquarters.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of proven success in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector, preferably with market experience in Libya.
• At least 5 years of experience launching pharmaceutical products or food supplements in challenging environments.
• Current residence in Tripoli and ability to travel frequently within the country.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop and own a market budget and revenue targets.
