Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our transportation and logistics team in Benghazi. The successful candidate will design, analyse and improve mechanical systems that support our trucking and railroad operations, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machine designs and create/update detailed CAD models and technical drawings.
• Participate in research and development projects to test prototypes and propose design enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on installation, maintenance and reliability projects.
• Prepare technical documentation and support troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience in transportation, industrial or logistics environments.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities on‑site.
