Precast Concrete Plant & Operations Engineer – International Project

About the role

We are looking for a Precast Concrete Plant & Operations Engineer to establish and run an on‑site precast concrete production facility for a strategic ground infrastructure project abroad. The role covers plant set‑up, commissioning, production planning and day‑to‑day operational management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, install and commission an on‑site precast concrete production plant.
• Design production layouts, casting beds, moulds, curing systems and material‑handling arrangements.
• Develop and manage concrete mix designs in coordination with quality control.
• Monitor daily production output against project demand and construction schedules.
• Manage plant operations including manpower planning, shift organisation and equipment utilisation.
• Oversee raw material supply, stock control and consumption of aggregates, cement, admixtures and reinforcement.
• Implement quality control procedures across production, curing, storage and handling of precast elements.
• Coordinate transport, stacking and delivery of precast units to installation areas.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of plant equipment to minimise downtime.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental standards throughout plant operations.
• Prepare production, quality and consumption reports for site management and headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of professional experience in precast concrete production.
• Hands‑on experience in on‑site set‑up, commissioning and operation of precast concrete plants.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, curing methods and precast element production.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply technical standards, codes and project specifications.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site abroad on a rotational basis.
