Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

Em Sherif, a renowned fine dining restaurant brand, is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to support the launch and ongoing operations of its new restaurant in Libya.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for both Food and Non-Food categories.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
• Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking.
• Coordinate with operations teams to support restaurant requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and reports using SAP and Excel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within restaurants, hospitality, catering, or food & beverage operations.
• Strong experience managing both Food and Non-Food procurement categories.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
• Knowledge of the Libyan supplier market is highly preferred.
• Experience in restaurant pre‑opening projects is an advantage.
