Graduate Architect – Tripoli

About the role

Septimius Properties Ltd, a Dublin-based property company active in sourcing, construction, architecture, interior design, project management and rentals, is building a new architecture and design team in Tripoli, Libya. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Graduate Architect within its Design & Technical team, working from early design through planning to construction with one consistent drawing system. The anticipated start date is early 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design options and layouts from the brief
• Prepare planning drawing packs (site and location plans, floor plans, elevations, sections and roof plans)
• Produce construction and detail drawings
• Prepare door, window and area schedules
• Keep drawing registers and revisions up to date
• Work closely with the Team Lead, report progress daily and raise issues early

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or Architectural Technology; final-year graduates finishing in 2026 are welcome
• Portfolio of academic and/or professional architectural work
• English at B2 level or above, written and spoken, and fluent Arabic
• Clear communication, teamwork, attention to detail, reliability and a strong willingness to learn

Required skills

• Good AutoCAD skills, including layers, Xrefs, layouts, viewports and plotting to PDF
• 3D modelling in SketchUp or Revit
• Ability to produce clear, accurate plans, sections and elevations with a good understanding of building construction and materials
• Experience with Revit (modelling, sheets and schedules) is an advantage, as Revit will be the main software and training is provided
• Knowledge of construction detailing, building regulations or planning processes is a plus; familiarity with AI tools for productivity is beneficial
